When I asked on my stories how y’all were doing - you guys reached out to ME to check on how I was doing ♡ & to be truthful I didn’t really have the words to say. I’m not one to easily put my feelings out there for the world to see. But also.. I don’t know that I have the words to describe it. This time has truly brought about a roller coaster of emotions that I haven’t experienced in quite a while. I want to be open with you guys because I never want you to feel alone in your emotions ♡

Through everything in my life - the one thing that brings me back to who I truly am is my hope in Jesus. Love is not just a feeling. But a choice and shown

Love is not just a feeling. But a choice and shown in action. As believers we need to PURSUE love, pursue peace and pursue grace in our daily lives.

When you accept Jesus into your life, you also accept that it is no longer about YOU, but the higher purpose of the Kingdom. Faith was never meant to be kept tucked away quietly. It is our job to actively love. Actively pave the way for others. Actively plant the seeds of faith. To show others who Jesus is through our own actions.

Humility, peace and love are also not meant to be tucked away quietly. We are not called to hate those who hate. We are not called to dismiss it. But we are also not called to judge or condemn. We are called to spread light - with the wisdom and the strength of The Holy Spirit.

I don’t know all the answers or the right things to say. But I do know that I am called to weep with those who weep. That living in harmony does not only apply when it’s comfortable and convenient. That living peaceably with ALL requires work.

My heart is heavy as more and more sin is being brought to the surface. But seeing so many people come together in UNITY to stand against it, brings me so much hope.

If you are feeling uneasy, anxious, angry, sad, confused... I encourage you to pray and lean into God & His Word in this time ❤️ I love you, I am here for for you. My DMs are always open to hear your heart or requests for prayer.

Now more than ever we need to stand together with GRACE and in LOVE.

My heart breaks seeing hatred divide our country.

If we truly want change, we have to learn to come together. Together WE can do better.

So let’s start by teaching grace and love to others - by showing grace and love to our own communities, to our growing children. To those hurting. And to those mourning.
