Hey friends! As Super Bowl Sunday quickly approaches I figured this would be the best time to share my favorite recipes for watching the big game!
Putting this post together I can’t help but think back to watching some good ol’ Alabama football with Jake’s family. There is nothing quite like gathering with family and friends to watch a football game. It’s loud and it is C R A Z Y but we all have so much fun making those memories and spending quality time together. And THE FOOD you guys, let me just say – you do not end game day hungry, that’s for sure.
Grandma’s Chili

I had to start this post with a family favorite! I’ve eaten this chili all my life and every. single. time. that I’ve made it, it’s been raved about. Thanks Grandma! This is also my husband’s favorite chili AND kid approved. I have never actually shared this recipe with anyone before, but I think everybody needs a good go-to chili recipe! Click here to see the recipe!
Crock pot Lil’ Smokies

This recipe requires only THREE ingredients. I’ve never tasted something so delicious that was this easy to make! This one is sure to be a crowd pleaser. And let’s face it, when you’re making multiple party foods, quick and easy is a MUST! This recipe is from Carrie at Eating on a Dime.
Buffalo Chicken Dip

Is it even game day without chips & dip? One of my very best friends introduced me to a similar recipe and y’all I could eat THE WHOLE DANG POT on my own. If you have never made this DO and thank me later. We typically make ours in a crock pot but you can do either! This recipe is from Bombsell Bling and you can find the steps here!
Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

I could eat a dozen Hawaiian rolls by themselves but they make the BEST sliders! There are so many options for these. You could go with ham/roast beef/turkey and any and all cheeses and they would all be so delicious. There’s just no going wrong! Today I’m sharing these philly cheesesteak sliders because I reallllly don’t know that there’s a better way to do it!
Pigs in a Blaket

Every time that I make pigs in a blanket to bring somewhere, half of it gets eaten before leaving the house and I’m barely able to sneak any out the door! Sharing a super simple recipe, but this is a game day must have so I just couldn’t leave it out!
I hope this post gave you some good game day ideas! I’d love to hear what you’re favorite game day foods are in the comments!
Have a blessed day friends!
